Stop the BlackBerry MVS 5.0 service on the MVS Session Manager computers
Use this procedure to stop the Windows BlackBerry Mobile Voice System service on the two computers that host the MVS Session
Manager instances that are part of the BlackBerry MVS 5.0 high availability configuration that you are upgrading.
- On the computer where the standby MVS Session Manager is installed, log in using the Windows domain user account (for example, MVSAdmin) that you created to install the BlackBerry MVS software.
- Click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
- Click BlackBerry MVS Session Manager.
- Click Stop the service.
- On the computer where the active MVS Session Manager is installed, log in using the Windows domain user account (for example, MVSAdmin) that you created to install the BlackBerry MVS software.
- Click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
- Click BlackBerry MVS Session Manager.
- Click Stop the service.
