BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter fixed issues

(DT 821188) In the BlackBerry® Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP2, when you try to move user accounts to a new BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter queues and monitors switch service requests for user accounts that are not activated. As a result, the user accounts that are not activated are rolled back to the source BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter does not queue or monitor switch service requests for user accounts that are not activated.

(DT 815370) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP2, if you use bulk mode to move user accounts to a new BlackBerry Enterprise Server, and some of the user accounts that are moved have warnings, the completion message is misleading: "X users moved and Y with warnings." The user accounts with warnings are moved, but the message suggests that the user accounts with warnings were not moved.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, the information in the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter log file has been changed to indicate "moved with warnings" instead of just "warnings." In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter UI, tool tips have been added to the Moved and Warnings counters to provide more information.

(DT 775021) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP2, you cannot configure how long the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter waits for the Microsoft® SQL Server® to process commands, and you cannot configure how long the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter tries to open a connection to the source BlackBerry Configuration Database and the destination BlackBerry Configuration Database.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved. For more information on how to configure these settings, see the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter Installation and Administration Guide.

(DT 732562) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP2, in rare circumstances, if you import a text file listing the user accounts that you want to move to a new BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter displays an error when it tries to preview the migration process. You cannot move the user accounts.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved.

(DT 713627) In previous versions of the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter in an IBM® Lotus® Domino® environment, if you change the ACL for a BlackBerry state database and do not select the Replicate or Copy Documents option, the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter cannot validate the BlackBerry state database even if the administration account that you are using has the necessary permissions. As a result, you cannot move user accounts.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved.

(DT 709296) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP1 and later, if the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter tries to open a database connection to delete a user account and the request times out, the tool might throw a NullReferenceException when it tries to roll back the transaction. As a result, the tool does not migrate the user account.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved.

(DT 698029) In previous versions of the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter, if you move user accounts successfully, the user accounts remain in the source server list in the Find Users window until you close the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter and open it again.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved.

(DT 648469) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP2, if you have bulk mode selected when you open the Manifest Configuration window, and you delete a user account from the grid (highlight and press DELETE), when you click OK and try to preview or start the migration process, the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter displays an exception and shuts down.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, you cannot delete user accounts from the Manifest Configuration window.

(DT 646843) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP1 and later, if you turn on content protection for a user account and lock the user's BlackBerry device, then move the user account to a destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server and try to send the set password and lock command, the command is not applied to the device.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved.

(DT 646433) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP2, if you configure a manifest file and complete a user migration, and while the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter is still open, you configure a new manifest file with the same two servers, but you switch the source and destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server, an application extension error displays and the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter shuts down.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved.

(DT 533902) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP1 and later, if you move user accounts that are not yet activated (have no PIN) to a destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server, you might not be able to manage the user accounts as expected using the BlackBerry Administration Service when the user accounts are activated on the destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved.

(DT 524285) In the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter 5.0 SP1 and later, if email messages are sent to a user account while you are moving the user account to a new BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the user account might not receive the email messages.

In the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP3, this issue is resolved.
