Users cannot import groups in the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service for BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0

Possible causes

  • Administrators did not test the connection when they configured the settings in the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software synchronization service.
  • In the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service, on the BAS tab, administrators did not enter the FQDN of the computer that hosts the BlackBerry® Administration Service.

Possible solution

Try performing the following actions:

  1. Open the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service.
  2. In the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service, on the BAS tab, perform any of the following actions:
    • Click Test Connection.
    • In the BAS Machine Name field, type the FQDN of the BlackBerry Administration Service server.
