Create an application control policy for the BlackBerry Pushcast Player

You can configure settings for the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Player so that the BlackBerry device functions correctly after you install the BlackBerry Pushcast Player.

Before you begin:
  • Verify that you know how to configure and administer the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.
  • Get authorization to change the application control policy settings that you associate with BlackBerry devices.
  1. In the BlackBerry Manager, click Blackberry Domain.
  2. On the Software Configuration tab, select Manage Application Policies.
  3. In the Application Control Polices dialog box, click New.
  4. In the Application Control Policy dialog box, in the right pane, click Disposition.
  5. In the list, click Optional.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Click OK.
