• Quad core 2.8 GHz or equivalent processor
• 2 GB of RAM
• 100 Mb Ethernet network connection
• Operating system installed on a RAID 1 or drive
• RAID 5 disk array or drive for content storage

Software for the BlackBerry Pushcast server

• One of the following:
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Server 2003 Standard R2
  • Windows Server 2008 Standard R2 (64-bit)
• Microsoft IIS 6 or Microsoft IIS 7

  The BlackBerry Pushcast Software does not support Microsoft IIS 7 for a Windows Server 2003 operating system.

• Microsoft ASP.NET
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
• Microsoft DTC service
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP3 or Microsoft SQL Server 2008

• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services

SSL

To support SSL, the following conditions must be met:

• Port 443 must be set on the Microsoft IIS website that you use for the BlackBerry Pushcast Software for SSL connectivity
• The certificate issued to SSL must match the FQDN of the BlackBerry Pushcast server
