BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy is not running

Possible solution

Check the status of the BlackBerry® Social Networking Application Proxy by performing the following actions:

  1. Open Windows® Services.
  2. Right-click BlackBerry SNAP Console Service. If the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy is not running, the status of BlackBerry SNAP Console Service is Stopped.
  3. To restart the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy, right-click BlackBerry SNAP Console Service.
  4. Click Start.

Check the Microsoft® SharePoint®server to make sure that it is running.

Possible solution

Check the log files to see what errors were logged that might prevent the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy from running. The log files are located in the subfolders in the default folder C:\Program Files\Research in Motion\BlackBerry\SNAP\SP\snap_tomcat\logs.
