Configuring system logging

The BlackBerry® Social Networking Application Proxy supports different loggers that control the information that is logged about the APIs for the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy. The loggers support five log levels that you can configure: debug, info, warning, error, and fatal. You can configure the log level for the information that is written to the file transfer service log files. By default, the file transfer service log files are located at <drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\SNAP\SP\ft_tomcat\logs.

The log files for the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy Administration Service are located at <drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\SNAP\console\tomcat\logs. The log files for the client services are located at <drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\SNAP\SP\snap_tomcat\logs.
