Configuring which IBM Lotus Domino server with DIIOP the BlackBerry Administration Service uses
The BlackBerry® Administration Service uses DIIOP to connect to the IBM® Lotus® Domino® server so that the BlackBerry Administration Service can access user account information. The BlackBerry® Web Desktop Manager uses DIIOP if users authenticate with it using their IBM® iNotes™ credentials. You can update the IBM Lotus Domino server information if you want the BlackBerry Administration Service to connect to a different server after you install the BlackBerry Administration Service.
Change the IBM Lotus Domino server with DIIOP that the BlackBerry Administration Service uses
- In the BlackBerry Administration Service, in the Servers and components menu, expand BlackBerry solution topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component view.
- Click BlackBerry Administration Service.
- Click Edit component.
- On the Domino Authentication (BESD) tab, change the fields as required.
- Click Save all.
- Restart the BlackBerry Administration Service.
