Overview: Chalk Pushcast Software
The Chalk™ Pushcast™ Software is an intuitive, user-friendly management system for mobile content that provides organizations with resources and tools that they can use to create, send, and manage content that contains interactive media to Chalk Pushcast Software users and groups. A Chalk Pushcast Software user is anyone who can access the Chalk Pushcast Software, regardless of the role that is assigned to the Chalk Pushcast Software user.
Using the Chalk Pushcast Software, you can create content and then deliver the content to the Chalk Pushcast Player on BlackBerry® devices or to the Chalk Pushcast Desktop Player on user's computers. Chalk Pushcast Player users can view content online or offline on devices and Chalk Pushcast Desktop Player users can view content on computers. You can configure features so that you can view whether Chalk Pushcast Player users or Chalk Pushcast Desktop Player users completed content, the deadline that they must complete the content by, and the date when the content expires. You can also run reports to determine the status of the content (for example, whether Chalk Pushcast Desktop Player users or Chalk Pushcast Player users started or completed content).
The Chalk Pushcast Software implements several security features, such as RBAC, instance-level access control, roles and permissions, and SSL security. The Chalk Pushcast Software manages access to services and provides authentication and authorization within a single framework.
Using the Chalk Pushcast Software, you can control access to an organization's information. You can assign Chalk Pushcast Software users to roles and map features to the roles to control which operations Chalk Pushcast Software users can perform. Chalk Pushcast Software users can access only content that authors assign to them and perform the tasks that are specific to their role and permissions.
You can manage a Chalk Pushcast Software user and the user's status, permissions, content assignments and delivery, and content catalogues. You can also view, run, export, and print reports to view information, such as content enrollment status for users and groups and content delivery status for content that authors send to the Chalk Pushcast Player on devices.
Only Chalk Pushcast Software users that are assigned to the Administrator role or Author role can create content using the Chalk Pushcast Software. When an author creates content, the Chalk Pushcast Software makes the author the owner of the content. Also, only authorized users can access and manage content using the Chalk Pushcast Software.
