Do not use the Back, Forward, or Refresh buttons in your web browser when using the BlackBerry® Administration Service, BlackBerry Monitoring Service, or BlackBerry® MDS Application Console, because this might have an unexpected impact on the settings you configure.

Research In Motion® has de-emphasized support for BlackBerry® Instant Messaging for Microsoft® Office Live Communications Server 2005 for Windows® Messenger users. Research In Motion does not plan to release new versions of the BlackBerry Instant Messaging Connector or collaboration client for Windows Messenger.

If your organization creates its own SSL certificate so that the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server can communicate with the Novell® GroupWise® messaging server using HTTPS, the BlackBerry Messaging Agent writes the 12045 error message to its log file and might not perform as expected. To resolve this issue, perform the following actions:
  1. In the Windows® Services, stop the BlackBerry Controller.
  2. Import the certificate as a trusted root certification authority to the certificate store of the Windows® Internet Explorer® on the computer.
  3. In the Windows Services, start the BlackBerry Controller and restart the BlackBerry Mail Store Service.
