Configure the BlackBerry Manager to use database authentication in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
During the installation process, if you choose to connect to the BlackBerry® Configuration Database using Windows® authentication, the BlackBerry Manager uses Windows authentication automatically. If you create database accounts for your administrators, you must change the type of authentication that the BlackBerry Manager
uses.
- In the BlackBerry Manager, on the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click Database.
- In the Authentication drop-down list, click Database Authentication.
- Click OK.
- Restart the BlackBerry Manager.
