When users click the link to the application loader tool in the upgrade instructions, the upgrade process does not start
Possible cause
The application loader might not be shared.
- Connect a BlackBerry® device to a computer on which the BlackBerry Manager is installed.
- At the command prompt, type \\<shared network drive>\Research In Motion\Apploader\loader.exe
- If the application loader tool starts, the tool is shared successfully.
