Upgrade implications for the BlackBerry Router

You can run a BlackBerry® Router version 4.1 SP3 or later with the latest BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version.

You cannot use the BlackBerry Administration Service to manage the BlackBerry Router instances because the BlackBerry Router instances do not connect to the BlackBerry Configuration Database. You can continue to configure the BlackBerry Router instances using the BlackBerry Configuration Panel.
