Permit wireless service providers to send BlackBerry Device Software
update requests to BlackBerry devices
Before you begin:Verify that you did not configure the
BlackBerry® Administration Service to display the
BlackBerry®
Device Software
pages.
- In the BlackBerry Administration Service, on the BlackBerry solution management menu, expand Policy.
- Click Manage IT policies.
- Click an IT policy.
- Click Edit IT policy.
- On the Wireless Software Upgrades tab, change the value of the Allow Non Enterprise Upgrade IT policy rule to Yes.
- Click Save all.
