BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool is a command-line tool that you can use to manage the BlackBerry Device Service, user accounts, and BlackBerry tablets. For example, you can add, find, and remove user accounts, or you can configure various settings for tablets and assign software configurations or IT policies. You can also use the tool to collect information about tablets and user accounts that you can use to monitor your organization's environment and troubleshoot issues.

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool connects to the BlackBerry Administration Service to retrieve information from and store information in the BlackBerry Configuration Database.

The commands that are available in the tool are classified as server options or client options. Server options are commands that are dependent on the version of the BlackBerry Device Service, not the version of the tool. If additional server options are introduced in a new version of the BlackBerry Device Service, you are not required to update the tool to the same version as the BlackBerry Device Service to use the server options.

Client options are commands that are dependent on the version of the tool. New client options are available only if you update to the latest version of the tool.
